Rob Fulton Memorial Fund

It is with heavy hearts that we ask for your help at this heartbreaking time. Our brother Rob Fulton of the Desert Studies Center at Zzyzx was reported missing on June 12th, and then subsequently and tragically killed in an automobile accident sometime between June 17 - June 23, 2018.  Rob was the on-site facilities manager for the Desert Studies Center through Cal State Fullerton for nearly 40 years. His knowledge of the Mojave Desert and it's ecosystems was unparalleled. He loved to teach and research with the many students and scientists that came from all over the world, and he was widely considered to be a leading expert in the natural history of the Mojave Desert. Rob was a unique and passionate individual who had a selfless generosity and willingness to be energetically involved in the needs of others and touched countless lives. We will miss him immensely.  We are asking for help at this time for assistance with the funeral and expenses, and potentially a plaque in his honor to possibly be placed out at Zzyzx. Rob's mother Marjorie has limited means, so the funds will be going to her to cover the funeral and expenses.  We wish to thank everyone who has been with us, reached out to us, and kept our family in your prayers through this most difficult time.
