Rob Frost was wrongfully terminated from Yale
With Rob’s medical benefits gone, the Frost family needs our help to pay for their eight year old daughter’s Type 1 diabetes care.
Rob Frost, a father of four, was wrongfully terminated from Yale University this week from his position as an athletic trainer for the men’s hockey and crew teams. His job was to care for the athletes’ medical needs and rehab. He has been actively contributing to the health and wellness for Yale athletics for the past four years. Now he is told he is a health risk to others. Why?
Yale mandated that all faculty, staff, students be vaccinated for Covid-19, or request an exemption. Rob had personal and religious concerns about taking the shot. He was granted an exemption by Yale on July 21st. The exemption was rescinded on July 28th. He was terminated on August 3rd.
Rob has made an informed choice to rely on his natural immunity, rather than jeopardize his ability to support his family. Rob is young and healthy, as are the athletes he works with. This is the lowest risk group in the entire University. The exemption review board agreed he was not a health threat only to backtrack. How is someone who lowers the key risks factors of surviving Covid now being deemed a health risk to the very people he serves?
With Rob’s medical benefits gone, the Frost family needs our help to pay for his eight year old daughter’s Type 1 diabetes care. As a fitness expert, Rob has devoted a 20-year career to improving the health in the lives of others. Please support his right to decide health choices for his own body.
