Help Rob Battle Cancer

My name is Tiana, and it greatly saddens me that myself and my family have reached this point. I have set up this go fund me on behalf of Rob and my family. Rob has been my siblings (Kailtyn and Brandon) and I’s stepfather since 2008 after the passing of our biological father. He has 3 of his own children, Chris, Kassandra, and Bryce. He additionally has 4 grandchildren that he adores, Emma, Kinsley, Logan, and Blake. In July of 2022 my stepfather, Rob Linford, received a heartbreaking diagnosis of stage 4 pancreatic cancer that has now entered the liver. He is only 56 years old. Our entire family was shocked by this news. Unfortunately, the cancer is uncurable, and our main objective is for Rob to live comfortably and for the cancer to not spread more than it has.

Rob’s quality of life has already deteriorated. He has been in the hospital almost every week since his diagnosis from extreme pain and nausea since he is not able to eat very many whole foods as his body cannot digest them from the cancer. We are waiting for Rob to receive treatment in hopes of shrinking the tumors to prolong his life, but this comes at a lengthy cost. Currently, he is on pain management and anti-nausea medication which is quite expensive as he does not have much medical coverage.

Since Rob’s diagnosis, my mother Michelle is the sole provider for herself and Rob. She is unable to take him to his doctor appointments and treatment as she cannot miss any work in order for them to live. Watching my mom and Rob go through this stressful and devastating time has been incredibly hard for my siblings and I and that is where we came to realize that our family needs as much support and help as we can get at this point in time.

Our goal is to raise money for any of Rob’s medical expenses, medications, treatments, gas, groceries, and other living expenses, to reduce the financial stresses they are facing. This would also allow for my mother to spend some extra time with Rob while she still has it. My family and I are incredibly grateful for any contribution that is made and thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts.
