Help This Devoted Dad Walk Again after 25-Foot Fall
Donation protected
The fall shattered Rob’s hip.
He can’t walk, can’t work. His life changed in an instant.
Now he needs our help to heal, support his kids, and rebuild his life.
If you’ve ever met Rob Murphy, chances are he’s helped you in some way — fixed something, built something, shown up with that playful look in his eye — tools in hand. He’s a contractor with a heart bigger than the houses he builds, always saying yes to someone in need, whether it’s paid, traded, or just because he cares.
Last night — July 22,2025 — Rob fell more than 25 feet from a tree.
It was sudden. Brutal. And it left him instantly unable to walk.
His hip was not just broken, but shattered.
No local surgeon in Medford could attempt the kind of reconstructive surgery he needed. His injuries were so complex, they had to airlift him to Portland in the middle of the night — where he’s now awaiting major surgery to piece his hip and pelvis back together.
Rob is a devoted dad, a fiercely loyal friend, and the kind of guy who gives more than he gets. He’s the kind of father who snuggles his kids and plays ball in the street for hours — because their joy lights him up.
He shows up — for his family, for his friends, for total strangers who just need a hand.
Whether he’s fixing what’s broken, turning ordinary places into dream spaces, or just being a dad, Rob pours his heart into everything he does.
He’s the kind of guy who might say something wildly inappropriate one moment and melt your heart the next.
Rob has a long road ahead.
He’s facing major surgery, followed by months of recovery, physical therapy, and rehabilitation.
As a contractor, his body is his livelihood — and right now, he can’t walk, can’t work, and can’t provide for himself or his kids the way he always has.
The medical bills, time away from work, and everyday expenses will be adding up fast. He’s going to need all the support he can get to make it through the next few months and rebuild his life.
Exact medical costs are currently unknown, but will be significant. This fundraiser is to cover his immediate recovery over the next few months, while he is unable to work.
Your gift, big or small, will help him walk again — and start rebuilding his own foundation, after decades of helping others build theirs.
And if you can’t give, please consider sharing this with others who might.
Every share matters and could help Rob take a step forward…
Literally.
We will post more details and updates, as Rob's situation unfolds...
Thank you in advance
