Rob Corley Tribute

Our beloved friend Rob Corley passed away December 16th.  From his earliest days in Port Lavaca to his last years in Austin, Rob left quite a mark on us.

He loved his family and his friends and wasn't shy about showing it.  Rob was known for his service to others, offbeat humor, kindness and good will.   He was always willing to help and bring his good cheer to any occasion.  Rob mentored many along the way, sharing his encouragement and compassion.

In his last decade with us, Rob met and married the love of his life, Lucinda.  This wonderful couple have been great friends to so many.

For the past few years, Rob battled a litany of health issues requiring hospitalization and extensive medical consultation.   When it was clear that his health wouldn't allow him to continue to work, he sought a permanent disability claim which was denied more than once.

It has been a difficult economic struggle for this sweet couple.  Much of the cost for his care came out of Rob and Lucinda's own pocket.  Regular bills and a mortgage compounded their monetary predicament.  The expense of cremation and a funeral service also is adding to this financial difficulty.

But there is something we can do to help.
