Rob Batey's Medical Bills

Hey Everybody, one of Colorado's finest could use our help. I'm writing this on behalf of a bunch of us who consider Rob Batey a friend. He's a wonderful guy, a fantastic father, and generally considered by us as Boulder's most handsome man. He is one of my favorite people, who always meets you with a smile and an invitation to get drinks or a ride. Anybody who's ridden with him can tell you that the man is like the Wolverine come to life. He never gives up and can push through just about anything. Unfortunately, those character traits are going to be well-tested.

Rob had a horrible fall down the Second Flat Iron on Tuesday. Reports are that it was in the range of 80 to 100 feet. He's lucky to be alive but suffered multiple serious injuries: broken femur, 5 vertebrae, 16 ribs, clavicle, hand, a punctured lung... You get the idea. Thankfully, he's already off the ventilator, and they're hoping to move him out of the ICU soon. Needless to say, he faces a long road to recovery.

Rob begrudgingly agreed to this. Knowing him, it was probably all the pain meds talking. He is self-employed, so any help would be greatly appreciated. All funds will go to pay for medical bills and any shortfall in living expenses.
