Rob Appleby- Medical care for brain tumor

Hi,

I’m Rob’s sister, Megan.

Since Rob was diagnosed with a glioblastoma, our family has received many requests for ways that our wonderful friends and family can help us during this difficult process.

I started this GoFundMe because while money cannot cure his cancer, it definitely can go a long way in helping us get him the best treatment possible.

For example, he is currently having surgery at Duke University. This is his second brain surgery in just 5 weeks. Luckily he does have good medical insurance. But there are deductibles and costs not covered by insurance like travel and lodging in Durham. Also to be brutally honest, at this point we have no idea how long this treatment road will be. We know he will have chemo and radiation after the surgery. But we cannot predict what will come along with that or after.

Please do not feel obligated to donate. I just wanted to set up a place where people could chip in if they felt that was the way or one of the ways they want to help Rob. Every cent will go to medical and associated costs for treating his cancer.
