Rob and Amber Hall need our help!!

Rob & Amber’s son Jacob became really sick with cold symptoms a little over a week ago. He

went to the doctor and was prescribed antibiotics for a sinus infection. Thursday February 29, he was not getting better so they took him to the ER where he was admitted into the hospital and a CAT scan was ordered. After the scan they found a lesion on his brain and he was life flighted to Logan Health Children’s Hospital in Kalispell. He went in for emergency brain surgery as soon as he arrived and later that night had a 2nd brain surgery as well. His sinus infection had spread to the brain causing an abscess which led to meningitis and blood clots in his brain. They had to remove his bone flap and part of his skull. He may need more surgeries in the next couple of days. Jacob is fighting for his life; he is currently intubated and in critical condition in the pediatric ICU. They are saying he will be in the hospital at least 2 to 3 weeks and after being released he will have to go to the hospital daily for IV antibiotics for an unknown period of time. Because of his brain surgery Jacob will also be in a helmet when he is released and will have to finish the school year being homeschooled. The road to recovery will be a long one for the Halls. At the time they are saying 3-6 months. Living in rural MT this family is over 115 miles from the hospital where Jacob is. His dad Rob is a logger and step-mom Amber is a waitress who will be out of work for some time to be with Jacob every step of the way for his recovery. They also have 2 other kiddos at home. Let’s pull together and help take some of the financial burden off of this family!

JACOB is one of the sweetest and most hardworking kids you will ever meet and will give the shirt off his back to help anyone that needs it. Please pray for this sweet boy and his family.
