Donation protected
After participating in 2 challenging and rewarding home builds in Roatan I've decided to take on the challenge of building a home for a needy family WITH my family! On Feb 14th 2015 my wife, kids and other family members/friends will be traveling to Roatan Honduras to build a house for the family listed below.......... YOU can help us get there by donating directly to this build. Your gift will change their lives!
ANY DONATION OF 25.00 OR MORE WILL RECEIVE A FREE GIFT MADE IN ROATAN AS A THANK YOU!
Miguel writes: Our hope is Jesus Christ and we have faith that he will touch a charitable heart full of love for us. The construction of a house will protect us and give us security. It will make my small daughters and my wife happy! Our Lord Jesus Christ bless you." - Miquel Mathis
Miguel Angel Mathis 65 years old, 15 years on Roatan
Georgina Fuiqueroa (wife)
Children: Jackline (11), Sharlyne (8), Skarlet (2)
Miquel was born and raised on a banana farm on the mainland moving over to Roatan 15 years ago to look for work. He has worked varius jobs with the government and as a teacher over the years. Now that he is older he is having a hard time finding work due to his age. In order to make some money Georgina is cooking and selling a simple meal to folks in the village. Their income is minimal.
Miguel and Georgina met in 2001 and have 3 children together. Miquel's biggest concern as he ages is the provision of a decent home for his family. He wrote a note that he gave us that sums things up well …"Our hope is Jesus Christ and we have faith that he will touch a charitable heart full of love for us. The construction of a house will protect us and give us security. It will make my small daughters and my wife happy! Our Lord Jesus Christ bless you." - Miquel Mathis
