My dear friend, who has become a brother, Simba, is fighting a battle against a severe health crisis that threatens to silence his vibrant spirit. As a proud alumnus of USIU, Simba has always been a beacon of compassion, dedication, and leadership in our lives and community.

Simba’s life has been a testament to the power of passion. Whether on the field, inspiring young athletes or in the community advocating for positive change, his impact has been profound. He has touched so many lives with his unwavering support, his infectious enthusiasm for sports, his commitment as a leader of his community and his commitment to helping others succeed. To know Simba is to know kindness, laughter, and an unwavering belief that we can all make a difference.

However, a few months ago, our world turned upside down when Simba suffered a stroke. This unforeseen challenge has not only left him fighting for his health but also placed a heavy burden on his family and friends. The physiotherapy expenses have skyrocketed, totaling an urgent need of $3400 to ensure he receives the treatment necessary for recovery.

The goal we have set may seem daunting, but I believe in the loving and supportive community that Simba has cultivated over the years. Every small contribution brings us closer to giving him the chance to heal. Let us rally together, just as Simba has always rallied us, to show our support.
