"ROAD TRIP FOR RYLEA"

My very dear friends Alison and Brian and their dear son and daughter-in-law Tim and Jacinta, who live in Heyfield Victoria, are struggling with one of the biggest nightmares any parent or grandparent never wants to face. Tim and Jacinta have 3 children Beau 11, Cody 9 and little Rylea 5. When Rylea was only just 3 she was diagnosed with the horrific cancer condition called Neuroblastoma and then spent 16 months in the Royal Childrens Hospital undergoing treatment in the form of surgeries, chemotherapy and radiation. This dear little girl endured such a long time struggling this beast whilst at the same time being separated for most of the time from her Dad and her big brothers while Jacinta kept a bedside vigil to watch over her precious little one.  After 16 months in hospital Tim and Jacinta were ecstatic when they were able to announce that little Rylea was finally clear of cancer. Rylea remained in remission for only another 16 months before she became unwell again and then absolutely shocking news was revealed that Rylea had a tumor behind her eye. Rylea is now 5 years old and had managed to experience a few short months of attending and very much enjoying school before her recent diagnosis only 3 weeks ago. This dear little one is currently once again in the RCH undergoing Chemotherapy and then radiation will also begin.

The funds we are raising will be used to cover day to day family financial commitments  including mortgage payments whilst her parents are unable to work due to having Rylea in hospital for ongoing treatments. Her mother Jacinta remains with her constantly at RCH and her father Tim remains home in Heyfield Vic to look after their 2 other primary school aged children Beau and Cody.

It warms our heart to dedicate this road trip starting on 1st June (for 3 months) to little Rylea and we thank you for taking the time to visit this page and support this worthy family in their time of need.
