Illinois Rock & Roll Museum 66

The "Illinois Rock and Roll Museum on Route 66" is a way to honor accomplished musical artists from across many genres of music connected with Illinois. 

Our Mission Statement:
"The Illinois Rock & Roll Museum on Route 66 is a nonprofit organization that exists to preserve the history of musicians and bands with Illinois ties while educ...ating visitors about our rich music history. Our mission will meet our goals through its operation of a world-class museum that collects, preserves and exhibits artifacts of artists who have reached national and international recognition, and by providing enlightening educational programs"


Our first step is to raise money to create the this outstanding music exhibit exhibit by paying for administrative costs for the upcoming "Illinois Rock & Roll Museum on Route 66"  that will be located Downtown Joliet, IL.  This capital campaign will be used for administrative cost such as, filing fees, legal fees, insurance and marketing and other general upstart costs. 

"Illinois Rock & Roll Museum on Route 66" is incorporated in the State of Illinois and has applied for its 501c3 status.

Our plan is to create a world class museum in Downtown Joliet, where there are many exciting new things happening.  The Rialto Square Theater, The Forge entertainment Venue, Harrahs Casino, the Joliet Area Historical Museum, Chicago Street Pub, Tin Roof, Cafe Chivare,  Juliet's and MyGrain Brewing to name a few.
