This sweet boy was found on the side of the road about a week ago. No one came forth to claim him and we didn’t want him to end up in a shelter. So John and I took him in until we could find him his “furever” home. Unfortunately when we took him for an initial health check up and vaccinations, he tested positive for heartworms. We now plan on keeping him as a furbaby of our own! But the cost of prolonged treatment will not come cheap and can take up to 6-8 months to complete.
