Road To The Beijing Olympics

Training for the Olympics is a lifelong dream and a one in a million opportunity. My name is Jamil Muhammad-Ray and I am a former Division I track and field athlete, a brother of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity inc., a full time father and now a Team USA Bobsled athlete. I have been given the opportunity to become the first black man to drive a bobsled which is a huge deal not only for myself but for my family, my community and the city of Charlotte The USA Olympic Team across all sports is one of a kind because unlike the other countries that compete in the Olympic Games, our program is not funded by our government so athletes are forced to come out of pocket for gear, travel, competition and a ton of other miscellaneous expenses. Please join others in helping me fund my upcoming season. Any amount helps me further my dreams and gives my son something else to look up to within me.
