Road to Sorn's Recovery

Hello everyone,

I’m reaching out for help on behalf of my uncle, Sorn, who recently had multiple back surgeries to alleviate nerve complications. The surgeries have made Sorn partially paralyzed from the waist down. He is now beddridden as he’s fighting to regain feeling and movement in his body. My uncle is facing tremendous challenges with medical expenses as well as transportation to his appointments.

Before the surgeries, Sorn was a cornerstone in his community, offering help wherever and whenever. I had a chat with him yesterday and it hurt him to hear about how many people were experiencing car troubles. It hurt him because he wanted to help them so badly. I’ve never known my uncle to be content with staying inside. He was always outside, working on the house, the cars, or helping out a community member. Although it’s challenging for him, he still makes his way outside for hours at a time in his chair. It is my biggest wish to see him outside again without the help of his chair.

We are asking for your donations to help with medical expenses and, moreover, transportation costs, to help my uncle get to and from his appointments. Your contributions will help ensure that my uncle can continue to receive the medical care and support he needs to recover.
