My Master’s of Fine Arts degree has been completed. Now what???

Ya girl has been getting sent out on A LOT of SAG auditions and even booked one since graduating. This means that before I can work my next union gig, I must join SAG-AFTRA. Those in the know are aware of how steep this initiation fee can be ($3,000) for an artist starting or (in my case) re-introducing themselves back into the industry. I’m getting exactly what I worked, prayed and sacrificed for. This journey in the arts is a life-long endeavor and in order for me to take on opportunities I know I deserve, joining SAG- AFTRA is the next logical step. 

This last year and some change has been difficult on all of us in some way or another. Wages, loved ones, and our general way of life forfeited due COVID, along with the the re-opening of the country are all things we’ll be navigating for years to come. 

You all have supported my artistic journey in one form or another and I am grateful beyond words. Trust  me when I say that the ask for more support on this next leg of my journey is not lightly made, especially during a time when things are uncertain for many of us. 

I would appreciate any donation to my SAG initiation fund so that I may continue on along my chosen path.  No amount is too small.
