FAMILY AND FRIENDS…We NEED YOU! On Sunday, October 25th, our sister Lawanda Stewart was rushed to Rapides general hospital with a complaint of numbness on one side of her body. She was given and MRI and Cat Scan, the Doctor's recommended she be transported to Tulane University to see a Neurologist. The news came back that she would need emergency surgery. A mass was found on her brain. It was removed but she has a long road to recovery and is not currently able to be without continuous nursing care. She has to have therapy to regain use of her limbs, her speech as well as her Cognitive functions. She's presently still in New Orleans. Lawanda is a single parent of Aiden and she's the sole provider. She also has Lupus which makes this situation a dire emergency. The medical bills, transportation, and, living expenses are beginning to pile up so we desperately need each of you. No amount is too small. Lawanda is very quiet and reserved as you all know, but the Bible states, “you have not because you ask not” in James 4:2. God is a healer, and we're believing he'll restore our sister fully over time. All monies donated and raised will be given to the care.
