Road to Recovery For Joshy the Christmas Miracle
Donation protected

Josh is a amazing young man with his whole life ahead of him. As we all know josh is the type of person that puts all of everyone's problems before his own and is always happy to help out a mate in need. Now it's our turn to help him. I know all of us have felt helpless in the situation so now this is your turn to help.
On 14 December Josh was involved in a freak accident that saw him fall 5 stories from a hotel balcony in Canberra. Josh suffered catastrophic brain injuries, broke every bone on the left side of his body, collapsed lungs, organ damage, and his pelvis was smashed to pieces.
Thanks to the amazing work of the emergency services, paramedics, surgeons and medical staff at Canberra hospital, and through the love and support of his family and friends – and by the miracle of Christmas miracles, Josh survived and woke from his coma on the 25th on Christmas day. Then was taken of life support on the 3rd of January
Josh's bones and organs are healing well, however once they are healed he has the next challenge of brain rehabilitation to help his brain function properly again. He will need to be treated in a rehabilitation hospital in Sydney, meaning being separated by the much needed support of family and friends.
This is where we need your help – any donation small or large – will help Josh's family cover the expenses of travel and accommodation to be with Josh in Sydney, and to cover lost time at work.
