Hello everyone, I am fundraising for my sister-in-law Amanda. She has been struggling with ulcerative colitis which left her with a serious infection and septic. This lead to heart failure and numerous issues. She spent almost 2 weeks at UCSD trying to get well enough to be home. Shortly after being released with a defibrillator vest, she suffered a severe bleed and needed a transfusion. She is now re-hospitalized and is awaiting transfer back to UCSD. Needless to say, she is unable to work and she and her family are going to need help. Funds are needed to allow for her to recover stress free, and for Jerry to be able to take time off to help her recover. Her medical care is going to get expensive and currently we do not know how long she will be hospitalized. Her family reside in Corona and I would like to support Jerry staying with her in San Diego, and for her parents to be able to give them the support needed without worrying about the cost. Her recovery will be long and at this time we do not know the cost of care or medications. Any support would be greatly appreciated.
