We were all struck by the news that Dylan Woodall, an incredibly kind and loving 26 year old man, had a terrible accident on Wednesday, August 11th. Dylan has fought for his life and, thus far, has survived by the grace of God and the hard work of the emergency medical staff that raced to save him. His story is not over and we are asking for your help and prayers.
Dylan has already undergone several life saving surgeries and faces further surgeries for reconstruction. His care is in the hands of our wonderful team at Banner Medical's ICU, who currently see his stay there lasting several weeks for his condition to stabilize, before moving to a long-term care facility. His father, Vince, has been by his side since Wednesday and will need to continue to be present, providing the love and support Dylan needs.
The emotional and financial burdens to the family are great: unexpected medical bills, extended hospitalization, extensive surgeries, anticipated physical, occupational and psychological therapy, as well as lost wages and logistical expenses (airfare, hotel, food, etc.) being incurred by his father, who lives out of state. Whatever support you are able to give to help alleviate some of the financial impact of this tragedy will be humbly accepted with great appreciation.
Please join us in prayer for Dylan; a loving son, a trusted brother, and true friend to many.
