My uncle, the best brother, everyone’s friend, Myndi’s hubby, and his proudest titles, Dad and PopPop, Chuckie Scott, suffered a devastating stroke that turned his world upside down. In an instant, he lost his ability to speak, walk, and use his arms. Chuckie is known for his warm smile and the best hugs. He is truly the heart of our family. He has been in a difficult battle since that day, spending several weeks in ICU, followed by rehab, fighting every day. From day 1, not knowing if he would survive to see another, to fighting to move a finger again, learning how to sit up again, he’s still going!

After nearly two months, Chuckie is finally ready to transition to an assisted living apartment. However, his journey to recovery is far from over. He will need continued support, extensive therapy, and specialized medical equipment to help him regain as much independence as possible. His wife, kids, and sisters, as well as extended family and friends, have been by his side every step of the way, but the financial strain has been overwhelming.

With mounting medical bills, the costs of everyday living, and the need for expensive medical equipment, Chuckie and Myndi need our help. We’re asking for donations to ease their financial burden so that they can focus on Chuckie’s recovery and well-being. Every contribution, no matter how small, will go directly toward Chuckie’s medical needs, living expenses, and therapy.
