Long Road to Recovery
Hi, my name is Sherocca Delegal and my husband is Lavergne Delegal. We've been married for 10 years, and are raising our 2 great nephews and 2 great nieces. He is a loving son, father, grandfather, uncle , cousin , friend and loving husband and needs you'll help.
My husband is an insulin dependent diabetic, suffering with chronic kidney disease, and high blood pressure issues due to his kidney's failing . Lavergne recently began dialysis 7 days a week at home and on to preparing for a kidney transplant sometime soon in the future.
The doctor's description of what he was experiencing was basically drowning in his own fluids.
His illness has put our family at a disadvantage during this pandemic.
He will not be able to return to work full-time and is the sole provider for our household.
I have been unemployed for months due to COVID, and caring for the kids being that they are home schooled and trying to keep him and the kids safe during this time. I have been taking care of Lavergne as he faces a long road to recovery.
He still faces other surgeries soon for his AV Fistular to be placed for emergency situations and for his kidney transplant once we a donor willing to help.
We still have many doctor appointments that require us to have to travel and with no funds we at a major lost and struggle to do so at times and will hurt him more than help the situation.
Bills are suffering tremendously lights, water, phone, internet, etc. house bills altogether is in major turmoil.
We are mentally, spiritually and financially preparing for his kidney and pancreas transplant, please keep us lifted in prayer always.
The transplant will require us to travel to Atlanta, GA and possibly Jacksonville, FL a few times for testing to prepare for surgery and placement on the recipient list.
We are asking for blessings in any form you are able to provide. The covering of prayer, financially , transportation, home expenses, surgery and transplant costs.
We would like to thank you all in advance. Please feel free to repost on your social media and share as much as you can. https://gf.me/u/zd29ac
Also please feel free to leave your words of wisdom and encouragement for Lavergne and our family. God Bless and Thank you again.
