Hi guys! Thank you for supporting my journey to Wodapalooza. As I'm writing this, I'm still taking it all in!

I started my fitness journey back in 2012, when I was a freshman in college. I came across my first CrossFit gym in Kingston, Rhode Island. I spent most of my college years abusing alcohol and developing an unhealthy relationship with food. Exercise became a punishment rather than a privilege. I wanted to be a good CrossFit athlete, but I also found myself in a downward spiral trying to be someone I wasn't. It took me years to understand myself and even longer to love and accept myself, but through it all, I always found my way back to fitness.

I moved to Memphis to follow my dreams of being a TV reporter several years ago. That lasted about a year and a half until I made a leap of faith. I decided to become a full-time fitness trainer. I've coached at a number of gyms in the area including CrossFit Blue Blood in Olive Branch, Iron Tribe Fitness in East Memphis and Old Towne Fitness, where I'm currently Head Coach. Making fitness my full-time job has been a blessing and qualifying for Wodapalooza has meant the world to me. I've spent years becoming the athlete I am today and am eager to compete on this stage. I finished 22nd out of hundreds of women in the online qualifier to earn my spot at Wodapalooza.

I'll be competing in the individual women's intermediate division in Miami from January 13-16th, but I need your help to get there. This trip of a lifetime is going to cost me a lot of money, which is why I'm turning to you. Donations will help cover my travel, registration and additional expenses while I'm competing.
