Road to Master's Olympia

My name is Janine Herrera. I am a single mother to three beautiful girls, a full time ICU nurse, currently enrolled in my Master's of Science Nurse Practitioner program and an IFBB Bikini Pro. Bodybuilding is my passion! I juggle many of life's challenges while also pursuing my dream of being one of the top athletes in this sport.

The Master's Olympia, represents the pinnacle of my sport. I am proud to say that among 500 Bikini IFBB Pro's from the world who applied, I was one of the 20 Bikini athletes invited to compete at this year's Masters Olympia in Cluj Napoca, Romania. The Masters Olympia has not been held in over 11years. This is also the first time that the Bikini division will be held at a Masters Olympia!

Words cannot even begin to express my gratitude for being invited to compete at this very prestigious and inaugral event. I am proud to show my girls that in my forties, you can still go after your dreams, and that with hard work, consistency and persistency, it is never too late to go after the dream that God has set in your heart.
