On July 29, my father Larry was admitted to hospital due to a severe lung infection and was placed into a medically induced coma. After later testing, the doctors discovered that he needed triple bypass surgery, which took place later that week. They transferred him to Southlake hospital for the surgery, where he has been ever since. The doctors were able to lighten his sedation a few days ago, but he still has a long road ahead. During this time, my mother, siblings, and I have been going back and forth from our home in Gravenhurst to be by his side, which has been costly. We have created this GoFundMe to help support my mom, Crystal, with the costs of travel, bills, etc. As she is not able to work during this time and is unsure when she will return as my father will need support at home once released from hospital.
