Road to Korea U20 Lacrosse World Championship

Unter allen Spenden über 50€ verlose ich 2 Gegenstände aus meiner gear bag aus Süd Korea (zb Handschuhe, tshirt oder Pulli)!!

Hallo! Ich bin Zenonas Schmidt, 19 Jahre alt, und spiele seit über 8 Jahren mit voller Leidenschaft Lacrosse.

Nach meinem Start mit 11 Jahren bei der U16 des SC Frankfurt 1880 bin ich inzwischen Teil der U20 Nationalmannschaft und habe in den letzten Jahren alles gegeben, um mich sportlich weiterzuentwickeln. 2024 durfte ich mit der deutschen U20-Nationalmannschaft bei der Europameisterschaft antreten – wir haben gemeinsam einen großartigen 4. Platz erreicht!

Jetzt steht ein noch größeres Abenteuer bevor: Im Sommer 2025 spiele ich für Deutschland bei der U20 Lacrosse-Weltmeisterschaft in Südkorea!

Es ist für mich eine riesige Ehre, neben den besten im Lacrosse auf so einer Bühne spielen zu dürfen. Leider ist unsere Teilnahme komplett selbstfinanziert – es gibt kaum Förderungen oder Verbandsunterstützung. Das bedeutet: Flüge, Unterkunft, Verpflegung, Ausrüstung und Trainingslager – alles zahlen wir selbst.

Darum brauche ich Deine Unterstützung.

Mit diesem GoFundMe möchte ich die finanzielle Hürde überwinden, um mir diesen Traum zu erfüllen und bei der U20 Weltmeisterschaft in Süd Korea spielen. Jede Spende – egal wie groß oder klein – bringt mich ein Stück näher an mein Ziel.

Hi! I'm Zenonas Schmidt, 19 years old, and I've been playing lacrosse with full passion for over 8 years.

I started at the age of 11 with the U16 team at SC Frankfurt 1880, and today I’m proud to be part of the U20 national team. Over the past few years, I’ve given everything to develop as an athlete. In 2024, I had the honor of competing with the German U20 national team at the European Championship — where we proudly finished in 4th place!

Now, an even bigger adventure is ahead: In the summer of 2025, I will represent Germany at the U20 Lacrosse World Championship in South Korea!

It’s a huge honor for me to play on such a big stage alongside some of the best in the world. Unfortunately, our participation is entirely self-funded — with little support from sponsors or the federation. That means flights, accommodation, meals, equipment, and training camps all have to be paid out of our own pockets.

That’s why I need your support.

Through this GoFundMe, I hope to overcome the financial hurdle and make my dream of playing at the U20 World Championship in South Korea come true. Every donation — no matter how big or small — brings me one step closer to reaching my goal.
