Road to Independence: Transportation Expenses

My name is Eva Lara. I am 24 years old and I am legally blind. In October 2020, I was diagonsed with Usher Syndrome and Retinitis Pigmentosa. Retinitis Pigmentosa is a rare eye disease that affects the retina which causes vision loss. This condition has taken a lot from me but I won't let it take my independence. Since my vision loss has been deteriorating rapidly for the past two years, it's time for me to start independent living training. This consists of orientation and mobility training, braile, cooking, just to name a few classes. I am asking for financial help for transportation since the classes are once a week for 6 months in San Diego. The funds will be used for my sight guide's vehicle for the many trips we will be making. I do appreciate all your help and support. Thank you!
