Hi everyone!
This is my 1 year old Scottish Fold, Igor. Many of you know him as Iggy, Iggadoodle, or muffin man. Recently, Ig has been diagnosed with Dry Feline Infectious Peritonitis or FIP. This viral process attacks his internal organs such as his liver, kidneys, lymph nodes, spleen and Brain.
Igor was showing minimal symptoms and this was diagnosed shockingly.
As we all know, we love our pets like children and would do anything to care for them. For Igor, this includes hospitalization, blood work, and experimental treatments. With all of that comes a costly price tag that pet insurance simply does not cover.
Experimental treatment is Iggys only chance at survival and my sweet boy deserves the best life I can give him. I just simply can not do that on my own.
Working as an ED nurse in Manhattan leaves me only so much to help him!
Igor has put a smile on my face during the hardest times of my adult life and many have expressed how happy he makes others.
By helping Igor you’d be helping reduce some of the financial burdens of his treatments and monitoring.
