Burpees to Cape Town

In October I will be travelling to Cape Town, South Africa to represent my country in the Hockey Masters World Cup.

This is a fantastic opportunity for me that I have worked extremely hard towards. Whilst it is an absolute honour to have been selected, it is all self-funded. To raise funds for the #roadtocapetown I am challenging myself to complete 8669 Burpees throughout the month of August, this is in an attempt to match the 8669 miles it is to Cape town.

This equates to roughly 280 Burpees a day for 31 days!!

Also, 25% of the money raised will go towards the Pete Atkins Youth Hockey Foundation who support young people to be able to have the opportunities to play and advance in the sport of hockey, many of these youngster I coach through club and regional hockey.
