Hello, many of you know me as Damion Ryura,

I am the founder and creator of House of Ryura, also known as The Ryuraverse. At 13 I envisioned becoming a great fashion designer back home in New Jersey. In November 2015, I found my way to San Diego, where Art takes more of the creative lead. With my love of art and comics, I gravitated toward something outside of traditional Fashion. This has led me to create stories, a universe where other artist could develop and share ideas for something greater.

Ever since high school, I created my characters and started writing, building a place that would bring me peace from the crazy everyday world. Twelve years ago, that place was destroyed when I lost my grandmother and my father, ever since then, I have traveled in my mind wanting to rebuild that place, and now here I am, building a universe for all artists to escape the crazy life. Now at the age of 43, I am taking my creative powers to the next level.

Building a brand and business requires time, mental stability, and finances. But what does anime Los Angles have to do with this? The runway or what I like to call my storyboard. I can create characters to display and send my message to the viewers that fashion is not just about trends but also stories to be told. With time closing in, I will need support to build materials for clothing construction and merchandise for the table at the main hall to interact with people. And as a solo entrepreneur, I find the challenges to grow as the date of January 6 comes very close. This event means the world to me, and I work to be present, which will allow me to better my foundation to build my House of Ryura for artists to create web comics and other media for my universe.
