The day after my 22nd birthday I was admitted to the hospital with what I thought was a severe sinus infection, and after two blood transfusions and numerous tests found out that I have Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL).
I will fight this disease. I will persevere. I will survive; however, I know I cannot do it alone. I have such incredible support from my family and friends, but the financial burden is enormous and individually they can only contribute so much. This is why I am reaching out to all of you.
This fundraiser is aimed at closing the gap between what it costs me to stay alive through treatments and surgeries, and what my family and I can afford. I was not able to stay employed due to my illness, and am applying for long term aide, but that will take a while to get in place. Anything you can do to help is appreciated beyond what words can express.
