Road America against cancer

My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer in February and it has been nothing but a huge rollercoaster ever since. Two operations later and so far it is proving to have been successful. I am one of the most grateful men for the research into cancer and feel that I could do something to contribute towards this great fight.

During my spare time I stream a racing simulator and have been very open with viewers on my wife's progress during this very testing time for us both. I decided one day that I had to contribute and the only way I could think of was to broadcast a 24 hour stream to raise money for cancer charities. After speaking to my moderators in my channel about it, one of them suggested Roparun (a dutch charity organisation https://roparun.nl/en/over-roparun/ ) that he participates in every year. We chatted for ages about it and have decided that this is who we would like to raise money for.

 

I spoke to the viewers about doing a twelve hour race in aid of Roparun during the 24 hour stream and the response I got was very positive. So to cap it all, on 28th May 2022 from approximately 9am BST, I will be doing a 24 hour stream with a 12 hour race at the Road America racetrack to aid in the fight against cancer.
