Hi, my name is Susan and I am fundraising for my husband Tyrone Bethea. He has been on this journey for a kidney transplant all of his life. He was born with Bartter Syndrome. A rare genetic disorder impairs the kidney's ability to reabsorb salt and causes imbalances in various electrolytes and fluid concentrations in the body. He was not supposed to live past 12 years old. But God is faithful. He lives at the age of 52 years old. He has been on Dialysis for 16 years and counting. But he has been given an opportunity to receive a Kidney Transplant and the doctors are closely working with him to prepare for his kidney. We have been married for 23 years we have three beautiful children, a granddaughter, and 7 godchildren.
He is the Executive Pastor at our Church, The Sanctuary Church in Indianapolis, IN, and has excellent support from his church family and friends. He is also a native of The Church of God and loves his church family. There is still much work for him, and we believe this opportunity will allow him to fulfill the work that God has for him to complete. There are still many people to reach and touch. His life is a testimony to what God can do.
Your support for him will allow him to go through the transplant procedure and recover time with minimum financial stress and worry. For several weeks we will be unable to be present at our employers, this will give him an opportunity to heal and recover without strain. This is important for us as stress can cause so many issues health-wise. And the goal is to recover properly. Thank you for your support in whatever way you can.
