Hello! We are the crew of ROACH!, a comedy student film from Point Park University.

ROACH! follows a married couple, Arthur and Tori, as they are taking the next step in adopting a child into their family. As they prepare the house for an adoption agent to perform a home visit, Arthur discovers an unwanted guest has made an appearance... a creepy, crawly cockroach! Arthur resolves to rid their home of this invader before the uptight adoption agent sees, putting their chances of approval at risk.

We are super excited to be working on this film. We love the comedy genre and the great potential it has for storytelling. ROACH! is inspired by the classics like Tom & Jerry and The Three Stooges, especially the slapstick comedy that these shows are famous for. But between the laughs, ROACH! also explores themes of family, insecurity, and what it means to be "good enough."

All funds raised will go towards filmmaking expenses, such as paying to rent locations, wages for actors, and feeding our very hungry crew. Any amount is a bug, I mean, big help, and all donators will have their names listed in the "Special Thanks" section of the credits!
