Black Watch Scholarship Fund

Blackwatch Premier is a 501(c)3 non-profit that strives to provide a topnotch,  soccer player development program for youth ages 6-18.  One of our most important features has been to establish a program that reaches new American families in Burlington Vermont – mostly refugees from Ghana, Burundi, Kenya, Somalia, and other African nations,as well as other nations like  Nepal, Thailand, Iraq, Turkey, and Bosnia -- because soccer is an international language and involvement in our club can serves an important role in acculturation and community involvement. Blackwatch Premier is unique among soccer clubs in Vermont and maybe in this country in adopting this inclusive mission. More than 25% of the youth who play for Blackwatch receive a full scholarship, a free uniform, and transportation to and from practices and games.  However, we need help to underwrite this work.  Through these scholarships we are making a promise to every player that Blackwatch will continue to provide for his or her athletic and personal development.

All of the funds we raise are directed towards, uniforms, facility costs, league and tournament play.

We have 45 children, that playing is one of the most important parts of their day and we need your help to continue to provide this opportunity.
