Lets help Laura get on her feet

Hi, my name is Lindsay Brown. A wonderful person and dear friend, Chris Kovacs, passed away on October 22, 2021 after a nine year battle with Stage IV Colon Cancer. Even though Chris was sick and we knew end of life was near, his illness progressed more suddenly than expected. His passing left a financial burden on Laura, his wife, our friend, and co-worker.

For those of you who knew Chris, he was loved by all. His positive outlook on life was unparalleled. He would always smile even when his pain was more severe than most can even imagine. If you ever asked him how he was, he would give you the "rock n roll" sign and then immediately ask you how you are, as he never wanted to complain.

The amount of medical bills that have piled up for Chris is extraordinary. Not to mention, as soon as the insurance company heard of his passing, they took Laura off the medical insurance. This is quite a challenge for her because she takes monthly medications, which out of pocket, cost over $3,000 each and are imperative to her health.

This account is an outlet to support Laura, as she is facing significant financial challenges. This will help her settle any accounts that have accrued over the years, as well as any funeral costs and any other general living expenses. Given the situation, I know the best way we can all assist is with our ability to reduce the financial burden.
