On Easter Sunday we lost one of our own. Isac Molina was a dedicated EMT who served the San Diego community, but more than that he was part of the Fire/EMS family and a great friend. His generous spirit and classic sense of humor leave us all with an enormous hole in our hearts that he used to fill. Isac passed away suddenly and leaves behind his wife Karlin and their two young children.
A lot of people have asked me what they can do to help. We all wish there was some small way to help, some way to ease their suffering through this tragedy. We wish there were some task we could perform to fill a need because that is what we do. Karlin is one of the strongest people I have ever met, and she would never ask for this help on her own but this is just a small way for us to share our sympathy; to ease our own pain while making a tangible difference in the lives of some of our cherished family members.
