ABOUT THIS CAMPAIGN
I am 37 years old and a single mother of two beautiful girls. I have always been a very dedicated hard working woman and provide for my children the best way possible. On March 10,2015 our lives changed forever when we received the news from my doctor that I had inflammatory breast cancer. IBC is a very rare breast cancer and is very aggressive and rapid spreading so as it was we had to make some very quick decisions on when and where to get treatment. After doing some research we ended up getting accepted into the cancer treatment center of America in newnan Georgia. As I began my journey there after all the registration and all the paperwork my team of doctors began to do a number of test blood work and body scans. As we were still trying to process all of this whirlwind we were in on March 23, 2015 we met with my oncologist and got the results from the pet scan. They told us that the cancer had already spread to my liver, right lung, right collar bone, and spine. We were all very devastated to hear this news. My team of doctors came up with a plan to place a port in my left shoulder and begin a 6 treatment chemotherapy plan. On March 25, 2015 I began the first treatment and will have treatment every three weeks for the next 5 months. I am a true believer in Jesus Christ and I do not believe that God has given me this cancer in vein. I believe that their will be lives touched by my story and I pray everyday that if it be Gods will for me to be healed he will see to it. I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to each and everyone that may contribute to this fund as it will greatly help with living expenses for me and my children while I am unable to work. If you can not contribute financially I ask that you please place our little family on your daily prayer list and keep us lifted up.
