Hi my name is Lily and I’m turning 18 on the 8th of December.

Before I turn 18 I have set myself a series of 18 different challenges that I will complete with the aim of raising money for MacMillan.

I chose this charity because 3 years ago one of my favourite people in the whole world (my dad) was diagnosed with bowel cancer and it was one of the scariest experiences of my life. I didn’t deal with it very well and neither did he.

Macmillan made such a difference to our family by providing endless amounts of support to help us in our time of need.

If it weren’t for the help of Macmillan I’m not sure if my dad would still be here today.
