Hello everyone,

My name is Kardeen Mills, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart after the devastating impact of Hurricane Melissa. Our community has been hit hard — homes have been destroyed, families displaced, and many individuals have lost everything they have worked so hard for.

My own family is among those affected. Their home was severely damaged by flooding and strong winds, and many of their belongings are beyond repair. We are currently focusing on finding a safe place for them to stay, cleaning up what they can, and beginning the long process of rebuilding their lives.

I’m creating this GoFundMe to ask for help — any amount, no matter how small, will go directly toward:

Emergency housing and essential supplies

Food, clean water, and clothing

Home repairs and recovery expenses

Helping neighbors and loved ones also impacted by the storm

Hurricane Melissa has taken a lot from them, but it hasn’t taken the hope or their community spirit. Every donation and every share mean the world to us as we work to help them get back on their feet.
