Ed's Cancer Recovery Fund

In November, Ed went to the dr and based on some symptoms he was having , the dr scheduled him for a colonoscopy.
The colonoscopy revealed a mass in his colon that the doctor thought was cancerous.  The biopsy report confirmed that it was and our cancer journey began.
Ed has undergone 28 radiation treatments along with oral chemotherapy.  His treatments end this week and then there is a month of rest before he has surgery to remove the mass.  He will be off work for six weeks.
After that, he will have to have preventative chemotherapy for 6 months and will have another surgery to reattach part of his colon.
The good news is that all of this is hopefully going to result in a cancer free diagnosis at the end.
We have medical insurance, we both work full- time but the medical bills are already arriving in our mailbox.  We are simply overwhelmed.
We are blessed by a strong network of family and friends and we know that God only gives us what we can handle.  If any of you seeing this page have been touched by cancer, we would appreciate any help that is provided.
Cancer sucks but screening does help so we also encourage all of you to get your annual exams.
Thank you for all of your support.
