My nephew Sebastian Gagliardi is a wonderful 8 year old who loves soccer, playing with his legos, toy soldiers and cars. He was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor (D.I.P.G.), or as it has been explained to him a "bump on his head". Sebastian is always in good spirits, he is a really brave boy and continues to live every day to the fullest.
Sebastian was for several months part of a trial study at the NIH and the Childrens National Hospital, that included radiation, chemotherapy and other medicines. Now that the tumor has began to grow again and has extended upwards, it has affected his motor functions, he is having difficulty eating and is making him feel very tired.
We are trying to raise money for Sebastian now that both of his parents, Sergio and Yeimi have taken personal leave from their jobs to take care of him full time at home and also help them cover their medical and other related expenses. This donations will help relieve some of the stress in their lives.
Any donation is appreciated.
After all their expenses are covered we will donate the remaining funds to the research of a cure for this disease.

Mi sobrino Sebastián Gagliardi es un maravilloso niño de 8 años que ama el fútbol, le encanta jugar con sus legos, sus soldados de juguete y sus carros. El fué diagnosticado con un raro tumor cerebral (DIPG), o como se se le ha explicado a él un "chinchón en la cabeza". Sebastián está siempre con un buen espíritu, es un niño muy valiente y sigue viviendo cada día al máximo.
Sebastián fue durante varios meses parte de un estudio de prueba en el NIH y el Childrens National Hospital, que incluía radiación, quimioterapia y otros medicamentos. Ahora que el tumor ha comenzado nuevamente a crecer y se ha extendido hacia arriba, ha afectado sus funciones motoras, tiene dificultad para comer y está haciendo que se sienta muy cansado.
Estamos tratando de recaudar dinero para Sebastian ahora que sus padres, Sergio y Yeimi han pedido tiempo libre en sus empleos para cuidar de él a tiempo completo en su hogar y también para ayudarlos a cubrir sus gastos médicos y otros gastos relacionados. Estas donaciones ayudarán a aliviar algo la tensión en sus vidas.
