- We are still needing assistance, Kinsley sees her cardiologist may 21st and at that point her surgery will be scheduled. With me being out of work to stay home and take care of her, her dads back working but won't be employed long due to us being in marshfeild with her. We are still seeking assistance. As we are expected to stay down in marshfeild during her surgery for a week or 2. With living expenses, travel expenses and 2 kids at home. Im not sure how bills will be paid through all of this. We are just taking it day by day. Right now we are just trying to focus on not stressing out and asking for help as its needed.
- AFTER KINSLEY WAS BORN AHE SPENT 8 DAYS IN THE HOSPITAL, SHE HAD EXTRA BLOOD BEING PUMPED INTO HER LUNGS FROM HER HEART THROUGH A VAULE THAT WASNT SUPPOSED TO BE OPENED. DURING THAT TIME THE VAULE CLOSED AND SHE WAS SENT HOME WITH MEDICATION.
- Hi my name is Kimberly, in April of 2023 Dustin and I found out we were expecting. Everything seemed to be going well at first up until we reached the 2nd trimester. Our 2nd trimester testing for baby came back positive for Trisomy 18, which took a turn on us and baby. After many trips to Marshfeild Wisconsin and having the tests redone baby was cleared and the initial test that was positive turned out to be a false positive. With that being said under the care of Marshfeild care specialist, we did however find out that baby Riley does have a heart condition. Not only does she have a larger hole in her heart, but her heart is backwards which she was diagnosis with dextracardia. The plan at finding this out was to deliver down in marshfeild come time in January with baby having surgery at a later date. Surgery would be to reverse the heart and repair the hole.. With many trips to marshfeild previously and currently we are asking for assistance.
- At yesterday's appointment 10/26/2023 we found out that the babys heart is pumping extra blood into the liver, and now instead of going every 6 weeks to marshfeild we have to go every 2 weeks and our next appointment is November 9th. At anytime between now and January we will have to stay down in Marshfeild, where baby would be delivered early if she continues to have more complications and less growth. At this time its all in God's and babys hands. The doctors want to keep her in the womb as long as possible, however if they see more issues or a delay in growth she could be arriving sooner then expecting with surgery happening as well sooner then planned. With that being said Dustin and I would both be out of work during that time and after.
- We are asking for assistance not only for future and current medical costs, but traveling expenses and living expenses as we will have to stay down in Marshfeild with her upon arrival, that could happen at anytime. We are unsure when Baby Riley will make her entrance into this world, when it does happen whether it be 2 weeks away or come January we will be in Marshfeild for an extended stay.
