Bring Lee home to New Mexico

Lee's favorite painting was Vincent Van Gogh's "Starry Night." He used it as his cell phone wallpaper, and he even had a trifold room screen created in this image. That's why I chose this particular image for this GoFundMe campaign.
Lee didn't talk about death and dying too much. But he told me he wanted -- above all else -- to be buried in New Mexico, the state he loved.
I have started this GoFundMe because so very many, generous people have asked how they can donate cash to honor Lee's untimely death. They know I am now the sole wage-earner and that I am also self-employed as a writer. I can't accurately describe how very touched I am that so many people cared about Lee and me and want to make sure I can survive his passing. My gratitude extends beyond words.
The purpose of this GoFundMe is to create the funding required for me to fly home with Lee's remains and bury them in New Mexico. It's a terrible duty, but I want to honor his wishes.
If I exceed the goal of this GoFundMe, I will use the extra funds to fly Lee's daughter and granddaughter to Houston for a family reunion and so they can sort through his personal effects and claim those items of value to them. I also will use the extra funds for ordinary living expenses.
Please do not feel obligated to give a cash contribution. Many people have asked me to provide an easy vehicle for them to contribute money, and so I have established this GoFundMe. I appreciate your support no matter what form it takes. Know that I -- and LEE- love you all.
