Help the Paloses!

John and Anna are the best people on God's green earth. But in the past year, life has hit them with a series of punches in the gut.

First, John suddenly lost his job last fall after years of dedicated work. 

Next, their car broke down beyond repair.

After many jobless and car-less months, things finally seemed to be looking up when John signed on with a brewery and they acquired a used car. 

Until last night, when some jerk came down their street and STOLE the catalytic converter from the bottom of their car—an essential car part without which their car is basically unusable. 

Worst of all, this part costs $200 to replace. Their student loans come due next month to the tune of $1000. The last thing they can deal with right now is replacing an expensive car part.

It's time for us, their friends, to rally around and help them out. The amount we're trying to raise will cover the replacement car part AND the first two months of their student loan, giving them a month's "breathing room" so they can get their heads above water.
