Kidney Transplant & Living Donor
Donation protected
My name is Atehnge Morfaw and I am starting a GoFund account for my dad Mr. Martin Morfaw who is suffering from diabetic chronic kidney disease. My dad is a very kind and hard-working person. He is a pillar in the community and would give anyone the shirt off his back. His illness, however, has prevented him from doing all the things he used to love.
Two years ago, my dad was feeling fatigued and went to the emergency room where he was diagnosed with End Stage Renal Disease as a result of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. While dialysis is possible for the short-term treatment of this disease, transplant provides the best odds for long term survival.
Kidney transplant is every expensive. Even with insurance, that my dad does not have because of his health, dialysis schedule prevents him from working. He also faces significant expenses related to the surgery, follow-up care, anti-rejection medications as well as post-transplant medication that is critical to his survival.
I am reaching out for help in hopes of finding a living kidney donor as well as to raise funds to cover for medical expenses as he recently became a candidate for kidney transplant. Your support will mean everything to me and my family. Thank you so much for your time and support.
Living Donor
Please also take time (if willing) to find out if you can be a Living Donor for Martin Morfaw @
