Support Dominic's Journey Home

Donation protected
Dominic has a job, as a forklift operator, waiting for him in Utah as long as he can make it back by Friday. So time is of the essence to make this a reality. Please don't pass by the other side. This soul is suffering and in need of more permanent solutions. Please join me in making a difference in the life of this amazing, kind-hearted, giving man. Dominic traveled from Utah to Longview, Texas 6 or 7 months with high hopes of having a stable job and a place to call home. He had been struggling for years with homelessness, a lack of safety and security. Making this choice was in his best interest at the time. He was making great efforts to be responsible for himself and those in his care (his girlfriend Ashley and two dogs, Roxy and Shadow). He has made many attempts from age 19 to now at 21 to find long-term safety and security, with no such luck.

In these endeavors, he has fallen among thieves who wounded him (physically and emotionally) and robbed him, leaving him no way to care for himself or those entrusted to his care. This has left him helpless, homeless, and unable to pick himself up without our help. I (Vennessa Reynoso) see a man who is now broken, battered, and bruised in every way and left at the side of the road with no way to get back home to Utah where he has family, friends, and support. He has been pleading for help as he has done all he knows how to do to get back and be stable.

He is grateful for all those who have given him bits of money to provide moments of food, water, rest in hotel or motel stays, trucks, cars, campers, couches, and homeless shelters, but all of these have been temporary solutions. What I see is a man in need of so much more. He needs someone to go to him, ( which I am hoping to do Wednesday with your support), place him in a vehicle, and take him to a safe and secure home where he can heal, as well attend to his needs, and the needs of Ashley, Roxy, and Shadow (who have been there to keep him going even in survival mode. They have been a huge help in comforting him, allowing him to stay alive and motivated to keep moving forward in hope for a better future).

I feel deep empathy and compassion for this young man who has been a nephew in my life. I feel the call to action placed deep in my soul to be the person he needs to step in on his behalf. I plan to help lift him up to the best of my abilities. But I know I cannot do this alone. I need a community of donors to help me in this task. This will take many months of efforts on my part and his to have lasting change. I feel it is imprinted on me to be the person to help find the resources and other compassionate people who can help in lifting up this wonderful individual who deserves a place to call home.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart in advance for your prayers, suggestions, and financial donations.
