Lyle Hendrick, a former Army Special Forces officer, is leading an effort to compile Green Beret veteran's oral histories and record their stories for posterity in conjunction with the University of South Carolina. As momentum and interest grows this new project is exploring funding to guide it to the next level. This Go Fund Me drive is designed to provide the seed money for two critical areas 1) Cover expenses to continue gathering oral histories 2) Hire the legal, accounting, and non-profit professionals for guidance on permanent and sustainable funding for the project.
