On the morning of Sunday, July 20th, a fire took the home of Steve and Kathy Anderson. It was a total loss.

Story from Kathy: “Sunday morning, getting ready to make breakfast, a fire broke out. In less than an hour, the blink of an eye, our house was gone. But the most heartbreaking loss was Louie. An awesome little rescue pup, gone too soon, but will never be forgotten.”

Steve sustained third-degree burns to his feet in an attempt to save the home. Once it was realized the home was a losing battle, the shift was made to find the animals in the home and bring them to safety. Sadly, one dog, Louie, perished in the fire. The Andersons are devastated by the loss of their home and the life of their dog and can use all the love and support we can give.
