Hello, my name is Vanessa Zavala. I’m 26, and my 8-year-old kitty is my everything.

What started off as a normal evening getting her dinner ready turned into a nightmare in a matter of seconds. I stepped away after putting her dinner down. She took a couple of bites and started laying low to the ground, distress meowing and panting.

We took her in immediately to the nearest animal hospital (50 miles away since everything in my area was at capacity) and were told that one of her X-rays showed an unidentified mass near her heart.

We were given the options to either go through with a CT scan and surgery or consider euthanasia. For my fiancé and me, putting her down so young is not an option. We want to fight as much as we can for our fur baby.

As of right now, 5/2/25 at 9:44 am, she is getting prepped for a CT scan, and we should get results sometime soon.

This amount is to help cover all current medical bill quotes involving CT scans, anesthesia, surgery, X-rays, bloodwork and medications needed. Every little bit helps. We are already financially in a bind since we have our wedding coming up and debt to pay off.
